On 17 July, Smart Girl Organization proudly celebrates one year of empowering girls through mentorship, education, leadership development, and community outreach. Originally launched as Power Her: Say No to Early Pregnancy, the initiative has grown into Smart Girl Organization—a movement dedicated to helping girls build confidence, protect their future, and reach their full potential

What began as a vision to support girls and young women has grown into a movement of hope, confidence, and transformation.

Over the past year, we have worked tirelessly to equip girls with knowledge, courage, and life skills to help them overcome challenges and build brighter futures.

As Smart Girl Organization celebrates its first anniversary, we are grateful for the lives touched and the progress made in empowering girls and young women.

Our First-Year Impact

✔ Reached and mentored over 1,100 girls through mentorship programs, school visits, church outreach activities, and community events.

✔ Conducted mentorship sessions that equipped girls with life skills, confidence, leadership, and decision-making abilities.

✔ Visited schools to encourage girls to stay focused on education and pursue their dreams.

✔ Distributed dignity kits to support girls' health, confidence, and well-being.

✔ Organized community outreach programs aimed at empowering and protecting girls from challenges that threaten their future.

A Major Milestone

On 4 June 2026, Smart Girl Organization held a major girls' empowerment event that reached approximately 1,000 girls, significantly expanding our impact and strengthening our commitment to supporting the next generation.

Combined with previous mentorship activities, school visits, church programs, and community outreach efforts, our total reach now stands at more than 1,100 girls.

Our greatest achievement has been creating lasting impact that transforms lives.

Every girl mentored, every dream encouraged, and every life touched represents a step toward a future where girls are empowered, educated, confident, and equipped to succeed.

Challenges We Have Faced

Our biggest challenge during the first year has been limited financial resources.

Despite financial constraints, we have continued serving girls through determination, volunteer support, partnerships, and the generosity of people who believe in our mission.

This challenge has strengthened our resolve to expand support systems and build sustainable programs for greater impact in the years ahead.

Looking Ahead

As we enter Year Two, we are committed to:

• Increasing dignity kit distributions

Hello and welcome,

My name is Anuri Mabel, Founder of Smart Girl Organization.

As we celebrate our first anniversary on 17 July, my heart is filled with gratitude for how far God has brought us.

Smart Girl Organization was born from a simple but powerful belief: every girl deserves the opportunity to dream, learn, grow, and thrive.

Over the past year, we have reached more than 1,100 girls through mentorship programs, school visits, church outreach, dignity kit distribution, and community empowerment initiatives.

Each girl we have met has reminded us why this work matters.

We have listened to stories of courage, resilience, and hope. We have encouraged girls to stay in school, believe in themselves, protect their futures, and pursue their God-given potential.

One of our most significant milestones was our major empowerment event on 4 June 2026, where we reached approximately 1,000 girls, demonstrating the growing need for mentorship, education, and support within our communities.

Our journey has not been without challenges.

Like many grassroots organizations, we have faced financial limitations. Yet despite these obstacles, we have continued moving forward because we believe that investing in girls transforms families, communities, and future generations.

I am deeply grateful to every volunteer, supporter, parent, teacher, church leader, partner, and well-wisher who has stood with us during this first year.

Your encouragement, prayers, and support have helped make this impact possible.

As we enter Year Two, our vision is even bigger.

We aim to reach more girls, expand our mentorship programs, strengthen educational initiatives, distribute more dignity kits, and create greater opportunities for young women to lead and succeed.
